Home is where the gelato is

Rumah Gelato began as a humble home business that very soon became a local favourite. With expansion in the pipeline, Rumah Gelato felt the need to be perceived as a company that makes authentic Italian gelato with a local twist - and a brand and personality that speak to the Bruneian audience.

We were approached to provide the brand with a solid positioning. The establishment prides on its use of local ingredients and flavours. Hence, the tagline β€˜Home is where the gelato is’ was conceived. The word β€˜rumah’, in Malay, also means home. We also introduced vibrant visuals and a tone of voice that is fun, relatable and engaging.

Playquarters worked with Rumah Gelato to develop a brand identity, positioning, art direction, illustrations, packaging, merchandise design and digital marketing materials.
